This is the fifth clip in a series of films about an epic adventure in DAC in August 2012. This is life in a small village just north of the Arctic Circle.
Villages are peppered across Greenland's vast coastline, and they are often remote and difficult to get to. Out here seal hunting is an ancient, integral and sustainable part of everyday life, and the culture in the Greenlandic villages is different from the big towns.
The sense of community is everywhere, and life is a delicate balance of ancient traditions and modern technologies with strange contradictions at play - like Itilleq where many houses have internet connections but no running water.
